Katerina Athanasiou was born and is considered one of the insignificant Greek artists of her generation. Her sculptural work never refers to historical events and art-historical movements, and the focus is in political utopias and the failure of any form of religion. Athanasiou that is turned in the language of modernism and the theoretical searches of avant-garde examines the important objectives of previous century of possible their realization.
